Hey, Zeke, come on, you know Santa will never come if you stay up looking for him.
Go on, Zeke, go to bed and go to sleep.
Good dog. Hey, Chloe, you heard what I told Zeke!
Everyone go to bed, right now!
That’s right, Lucy, good dog.
You, too, Sylvester, good kitty.
Come on, now, Smokey, you aren’t fooling anyone.
That’s good, Smokey, but you’re going to have to move if your mother is ever going to get to bed.
There, Smokey, that’s better.
Look, even Chloe is finally asleep.
Sam! You’re going to scare Santa away if you look at him like that.
There, that’s better.
But Sam, I’m afraid you’re going to have to sleep in your doghouse tonight. I’m sure Santa will visit you there, too.
OK, I think everyone is in bed.
And soon, we’ll be visited by that right jolly old elf …
St. Dogolas!
And so, from Leah, Mark, Zeke, Lucy, Chloe, Sylvester, Smokey and Sam,
and to all a good night!
In memoriam: Zoe the cat, gone since Fall 2014.
Glad you got them all to bed so Santa could come by for his visit. Love seeing all the critters snuggled in for the night. Sam is adorable as Santa. He looks like part of the family now. And, always a tug at the heart to see Zoe. Merry Christmas to all of you!
Oh wait, is that Zeke as Santa? Whoever it is, very very cute!
Thanks for your comment and Amen to my Zoe…he is so missed!
Merry Xmas
Leah
Snuggled all safe in their beds. I hope somehow Zoe might be included in that.
Minnie — Poor, old Zoe. I have to admit that he wasn’t the most lovable cat in the world, but Leah misses him terribly.
