This is Dusty at the front door.
This is Rusty at the front door.
We think they were probably being harassed by Smokey or Sylvester in the garage, so they came up on the front walk. They act like they want to come in, but when we open the door they won’t. I have tried to get them to come in before, but the only one who ever actually came in was Dusty. He came in, went downstairs into the basement, and then came back up and went back outside. It’s kind of sad!
I love the colors of your wall and door.
They sure are pretty. Have you tried feeding them indoors?
I agree with Pablo, those colors are beautiful!
They have never actually come and stayed long enough.
I dunno’, Leah… They look like malevolent aliens in your images. Maybe it’s better that they stay outside! (We gradually coaxed one of our “outdoor” cats inside by leaving the door open and placing the food bowl at increasingly greater distances from the door.
No they don’t… 🙂
Pablo and Robin Andrea — It’s funny that you should notice the colors. I am usually very conservative when it comes to things like wall colors, but when I built the house (pre-Leah), I went all out and painted the living room/dining area/kitchen in complementary greens and blues. The door color originally matched the metal roof, which has faded over the years to almost white.
Scott — I think I have mentioned before about those glowing eyes in a picture of Zoe. In his case, I think it’s appropriate.
