Every night during cold weather Chloe comes in to sleep on our bed.

When we get ready to come to bed, Chloe gets affectionate.
And then right before we turn out the lights, she wants a goodnight kiss.

Does Chloe hog the bed, too? Our Maxine starts out perched at the very edge of the bed, but by morning she has spread out and commandeered at least a quarter of the space. We sleep in a full sized bed, which is just fine for two people, but not two people and a luxuriating cat! (The bed’s a fine four-poster antique; we don’t want to replace it.)

No Chloe really doesn’t hog the bed. She usually stays down by my feet or behind my legs. But in the morning she turns her motor on (her purring) to wake me up and she’s very affectionate!
