Chloe has started coming back in every so often. She slept on our bed a couple of times last weekend. She finds a nice, comfortable spot on the bedspread at the foot of the bed on my side. Mark is so long that his feet interfere, so she likes my side. Plus, she seems to like my underthings more than his.
Though I’m the one who feeds the cats, cleans their litter boxes, wipes-up their occasional puke, disposes of their half-eaten prey, and grooms them, our cats have all liked Kali better then me. They all sleep on her side of the bed–never mine (I’m not complaining about that). I think it’s a female/cat thing.
It’s kind of strange that Leah’s cat Zoe, who I can’t really say I like, try as I might, wants to sleep on my side of the bed. Before he was banned from the bed for a severe case of doodoo-foot, he would climb up and lie down on my pillow while I was in the shower. We had to move him out of the way before I could lie down. Most of the time he ended up at the foot of my end of the bed.
Every now and then our kitty cat Bonsai comes up on to the bed to sleep. He has hip problems, so we put a little trunk at the foot of the bed for him to use to get up here. He likes to sleep on my side of the bed, and if I let him, he would like to sleep exactly where I am sleeping and just wishes I would get out of the way.
